These policies apply to direct purchases of the Premium Quality Limited First Edition through RexTheRooster.com. Standard paperback and Kindle purchases are completed through Amazon and are subject to Amazon’s own ordering, shipping, return, and privacy policies.
01 · Privacy
Information and payments
RexTheRooster.com does not currently offer visitor accounts, newsletter signup, or on-site contact forms. The site does not currently use advertising pixels or visitor analytics. Like most websites, the hosting provider may maintain routine access and security logs, which can include an IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps.
Direct limited-edition checkout is hosted and processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect the contact, shipping, transaction, device, and payment information needed to process and protect the purchase. Rex Alexander Books receives the order details needed to confirm payment, fulfill the order, ship the book, and provide customer support. Rex Alexander Books does not operate its own card-entry system and does not store full payment-card numbers.
Order information is used only for fulfillment, support, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, refunds, and legal obligations. It is not sold or rented. Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Amazon and Facebook are separate services and control information submitted on their websites. Review their policies before using those services.
02 · Shipping
Direct limited-edition orders
- The limited first edition is $24.99 plus a flat $6.95 USPS postage charge.
- Direct shipping is currently available only to addresses in the continental United States.
- Please allow up to five business days for an order to be prepared before it is mailed.
- Tracking information will be provided when the USPS shipment is created.
- The buyer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
If an order is materially delayed, the buyer will be contacted using the email supplied during Stripe checkout. Amazon controls fulfillment and delivery for standard paperback orders placed on Amazon.
03 · Returns
Cancellations, damage, and refunds
Because each limited first edition is part of a small batch and is autographed by the author and marked with Rex’s print, direct orders are final sale after shipment except when a book arrives damaged or the wrong item was sent.
- A direct order may be cancelled for a full refund if the cancellation is received before shipment.
- Report a damaged or incorrect order within seven days of delivery.
- Include the purchaser’s name, order date, and clear photographs of the book and packaging.
- Never send payment-card numbers or other sensitive financial information in a support message.
A verified damaged or incorrect order will be replaced from available inventory or refunded to the original payment method. Amazon purchases follow Amazon’s return and refund policies.
04 · Terms
Purchase terms
- The initial limited-edition batch contains 20 copies and is available only while supplies last.
- Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. The total price and shipping charge appear before payment.
- An order may be cancelled and refunded if inventory is unavailable, payment cannot be confirmed, fraud is suspected, or the shipping address cannot be served.
- Paperback and Kindle links lead to Amazon; purchases made there are transactions with Amazon under its applicable terms.
- Site text, photographs, logos, book artwork, and other original material may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
These policies may be updated as ordering options or site features change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
